Who we are

Crewful is operated by Cade Corlew, a sole proprietor ("Crewful," "we,"

"us"). If you have questions about this policy, contact

Information we collect

Account information

• Email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Name, phone number, and profile photo.
• ZIP code, which we convert to an approximate geographic coordinate to

show you nearby jobs or professionals.

Professional profile information (if you sign up as a professional)

• Bio, service categories, insurance status/notes.
• Reference photos and reference contacts (name + phone) you choose to add.
• Live location while your "ready to work" status is active — used to

route nearby jobs to you and to let a customer track your progress to

their job.

• Ratings and reviews left by customers.
• Stripe Connect account information, needed to pay you out (see

"Payments" below).

Job and payment information

• Job details you post as a customer (category, description, address,

photos).

• Bids submitted by professionals on your job.
• Payment amount, platform fee, and payment status for completed jobs.
• We do not store your full payment card number — that's handled directly

by Stripe.

Location data

• Foreground location: to show nearby jobs and professionals.
• Background location (professionals only, while "ready to work" is

active): so customers can track your progress between jobs. This stops

when you turn off "ready to work."

Device information

• Push notification token, used for job/bid/message alerts.

How we use this information

We use this data to operate Crewful's core marketplace functions:

matching customers with nearby professionals, processing bids and job

awards, routing payments (customer → Crewful → professional, minus

platform fee), enabling live location tracking during an active job, and

sending relevant notifications.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties we share data with

• Stripe / Stripe Connect: processes all payments and payouts. When you

sign up as a professional to receive payouts, Stripe collects identity

and tax verification information (e.g. for 1099 issuance) directly —

this is handled by Stripe's own onboarding flow and governed by Stripe's

privacy policy, not stored by us beyond the account reference ID.

• Other Crewful users: a customer and the professional awarded their

job can see each other's name, profile info, and (for professionals)

live location during an active job. Bids, job details, and reviews are

visible per the app's normal marketplace functions.

• Cloud storage provider (AWS S3 or similar): stores job and profile

photos.

• Google Maps / Geocoding: your ZIP code is sent to Google's Geocoding

API to determine an approximate location for matching purposes.

• Hosting/infrastructure providers who run our servers and database.
• We may disclose information if required by law, to resolve a payment

dispute, or to protect the safety of our users.

Payments and payouts

Customer payments are processed by Stripe. Professional payouts are made

through Stripe Connect, which requires professionals to complete identity

and (where applicable) tax verification directly with Stripe. Cade Corlew

takes a platform fee (currently 10%) from each completed job.

If a customer disputes a completed job, funds are held for 48 hours after

completion before releasing to the professional. A customer can file a

dispute during that window; an administrator then reviews it and either

releases the payment to the professional or refunds the customer.

Background checks

Crewful does not currently perform background checks on professionals.

Professionals are not vetted or verified beyond the profile information

they provide, and customers use the service at their own risk. This

section will be updated if a background-check process is introduced.

Data retention

• Live "ready to work" location is not retained once you go offline.
• Job, bid, payment, and review records are retained as needed for

marketplace function, dispute resolution, and any applicable tax/legal

recordkeeping requirements.

• Account information is retained until you delete your account, subject

to records we're required to keep for payment/tax compliance.

Your choices

• Professionals can turn off "ready to work" at any time to stop

broadcasting location.

• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by

contacting corlew1223@icloud.com, subject to records we must retain for

completed transactions.

Children's privacy

Crewful is not directed at children, and accounts require you to meet the

minimum age required to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction (see

Terms of Service).

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and

will notify users of material changes through the app.
